I have an Ultra 250.
A friend of mine was able to find for me the old version of the KDS hardware but now I need the latest software update that for this HW is the rel 2.4 and part number 57001-1506.
Can someone help me?

Yes, that is the part number for v2.4. We added a 'B' to the beginning for our point of sale system.

What are the advantages to the updated software? It's my understanding that it's more for diagnosis rather than performance enhancing. I added the Riva Stage 1 kit, it really made the boat wake up, but I have a major problem with engine oil in the inter cooler and now it's starting to foul the plugs on initial acceleration. I just got a crankcase ventilation kit yesterday and have not yet installed it. I'm hoping that once that's installed the boat will be able to breathe better with subsequent improved performance.

The crankcase ventilation kit should help. I recommed you also install ourBypass Upgrade Kit. It will prevent blow by from re-entering the air intake system.

Thank you for the information on the software. I hope the crankcase kit makes a difference. The bypass upgrade kit is already installed but oil is coming out of the breather now to the point the ski barely runs. I also have the Riva Stage 1 kit installed. I believe there is oil in the inter cooler which is not allowing the engine to breathe very well as blow by is probably entering the intake. I'm counting on the new kit to help.
