Hes asking you to compare your 15F SC Kit to the new Ultra 250.

"Whats your take of this" What is your interpritation or opinion, often a individual piont of view. Wink

You really can't compare the two. Our kit isn't for the average rider. It's designed and intended for closed course racing with the STX-15F. The Vortech supercharger we utilize is a centrifigal style. The kit requires other extensive modifications in order to operate the craft safely and to its full potential. You're required to run race fuel and speeds in excess of 83mph are achievable.

The UltraX is more of a supercharged "cruiser". It will more than likely make for a good offshore/endurance race craft, but not a closed course race craft. The UltraX utilizes a roots style supercharger and runs on high octane pump fuel making it more user friendly. From what I've heard speeds in the area of 65~66mph can be expected.

We are continuing to offer our Supercharger Kit for the STX-15F, but you can count on our offering plenty of RIVA Performance Products for the UltraX & LX come next spring! Wink

Well RC your wrong.

The Ultra hull was designed from the Race Team, 22.5 angle then the STX hull giving "beter grip and more percise turning". Larger pump allow better hook up. More horse power...

Oh and it runs off 87 oct not premium. Page 18 of December in Watercraft Illustrated.

Sorry could not resist a s/a answer. Your not wrong too often and too often you come off as I just did.

Sorry.

Thank you for pointing out the errors in "my opinion" and fact as well as attitude. I apologize to our forum members.

BTW - I didn't take your reply as you being a S/A.

I was told by a Yamaha dealer Wednesday that they are not going to compete with the RXT and the Ultra 250. I've rode the RXT and did not like it and now I hear that the Ultra 250 top speed is 65 or 66... way too slow out of the box. I guess I'll keep my slow stage one GP1300 until some one comes out with a 70MPH OTC (over the counter)ski. Mike

We received 1 this week. I was told that all the top dealers were shipped one and that more are right behind them. I was also told that our order was cut by over 50%.

We've already begun combing over the one we received for development purposes. I'll be sure to post more when I can.

We've baselined two production spec units and both ran 66mph & 7,850rpm. These #'s were recorded using a Stalker radar gun (backed up by a Garmin GPS) and an aftermarket tach.
