firstly
with the riva g trim super charger kit what year model cams is the ECU mapped for? has any one tried different year model cams to see what if any difference it makes ? what cam shaft mods work well with the riva ecu. it seems that the inlet cam is the same through out the models and it is just the exhust cam that is different. i have a riva built 06 sc ski it does not look like the cam gears have ever been off and repositioned. i have a set of adjustable cam gears wich i am yet to fit but dont want to fit them if a set of 05 model( for example) cams is the way to go. |

The ECU is compatible with all year 15F's. We didn't find much difference from one year to the next in regard to switching cam for cam. What we did find to be beneficial is re-indexing the gears on the cams. I don't know the exact positioning, but will ask.

Our head of r&d recommends setting the cam gears at 110 degrees (both).

The 12R cams don't work with our SC Kit. Not even if you re-index them! I haven't heard of 10R cams being used. I'll check into that for you.
For a price on a RXP-X please click here and fill out the "Request a Quote". You can add notes for additional parts in the "Additional Accessories" or "Comments" fields. RIVA CREW Please post and ride responsibly!!! |

thanks
i cant see how 10r 's would work either as they are a different design cam all toghter different type of mounting system all toghter the locating position of the 10r cam is just behind the cam gear where the 15f's are in the middle of the cam how about the riva endurance cams? or are these 12R cams ? |

so by that do you mean rotate the engine to 110 deg ATDC then set both cams to maximum lift( fully open) at this 110 ? can you please elaborate a bit more |

Our Endurance Cams won't work either.
110 degrees ATDC. If you're uncertain as to the process of degreeing cams you should have someone with experience help you or have a reputable shop do the work. It's somewhat involved and requires first hand experience. RIVA CREW Please post and ride responsibly!!! |

I have the endurance cams and work with SC.

thanks i have set cams up before. can you ceck with the R&D guys that they mean 110 lobe centers becuase it does not make sense that you would set both cams to open at 110 atdc ( as i typoed above sorry i have made it harder for you to under stand me) lobe centerlines- valve :For example, full intake lobe lift at 110 deg. ATDC. full exhaust lobe lift at 110 deg. BTDC This message has been edited. Last edited by: dawson, |

how does it go with the endurance cams in it? i have heard that they are the same as the zx12R cams. i will run some over the cam doctor in the next few weeks and find this out first hand just waiting for my mate to have the cams out of his boat so i can do this |

It doesn't. Not even if you re-degee them. Yes, they're from the 12R.

thanks mate saves my mate having to pull his cams out cheers.
i understand that cause the riva SC kit was not designed to run with these cams you can not endorse running these bike cams as you have never tested the tune of the ski and performance with these cams in it. that is fair enough thanks for your help.. |

Well riva sold me some racing cams, that i thought were endurance cams that work.

rob is this on a super charged boat ???
i would think if you are runnning 12r cams you would have to change to a programable ecu as looking at the 12r profile there is a big differece and would have to remapp mixtures i would be worried with the amount of overlap they have as you would be pushing boost in the inlet valve and straight back out the exhuast valve This message has been edited.
