it is important for any of the bolts under the hull that you always use a torque wrench

if you replace the bolts make sure they aren't too long because then they will bottom out before they are tight

Philip, have you tried adding more washers under the front of the tabs to bring them closer to matching the hull-and less in the back to match the angle of the cut ride plate?

yep - porpoise city - I found the trim tabs have a big effect on handling so a little shimming makes a big change

phillip. my gp behaves like a freakin jumping bean now. im gonna have to do something. my raider kept up with me in chop. Frown im gonna go to my friends machine shop tomorrow and work on a few project i have.

first, im gonna make some incert to cover all the hardware holes on the bottom of the ski. like the holes on the intake grate/pump shoe/ride plate.

then, im gonna make some trim tabs. thin, strong, and very adjustable.

then ima make spacers for those trim tabs, so i can change thier angle to whatever.

then, im gonna make all the stuff on the bottom of the ski, flat. (file down pump shoe cuz it sticks below the level of the ride plate, and file some more stuff down)

then ima replace all the **** inserts with new ones from rive, and make custom ones for the leftover bolts....

its gonna be a fun day to say the least, i think it will take 2 maybe 3 till we're finished.

if u think any of what im gonna do is not a good idea, or even a bad idea.. tell me now, or forever hols your peace. all of u, i want constructive critisism. thanx

oh, im also gonna make pump shoe inserts out of straight up epoxy.. so i can make em nice and flat and solid. i might folow fercho's pump seal/silicon instructions, but replace silicone, with epoxy.. what u guys think? thanx
