I'm rebuilding a 62t 701cc yamaha and I'm about to put crank case back together. What sealer should I use between the cases? I was going to use Loctite #518. Is this the right stuff? Also any tips on how I should prep the cases for assembly?

Most engine builders use 3 Bond 1211 Gasket Sealer for the cases. Use acetone or MEK to clean the case halves really good.
