OK, for all the experienced modders, what mods do you reccommend/suggest for a normal 2001 GP1200R with 87 hours on it? I'd like to do a few things to boost performance, but can't go all out. So what are my best, most cost effective, must have options, in your opinion?

i have a rd reed stuffers that will help. get a jet works valve that will help w/ hole shot. flame arrestors and rejet your carbs w/ tee handles and get a after market intake grate. nujet prop and you are set. all this you will be happy with. call if you have any questions.

Our Stage I Kit offers a lot of bang for the buck! 4~5mph increase in top speed as well as improved acceleration.

In addition to our Stage I Kit I highly recommend you remove the catalytic converter and install our Cat Removal D-Plate. Doing so will significantly improve performance through reduced engine operating temperatures. You will also be able to switch to regular 2-stroke oil. You will need to purchase a Cat Temp Sensor Chip too. It mimics the signal sent to the CDI by the catalytic converter's temp probe preventing CDI flutters, warning device activation and engine shut down due to removing the cat/con.
