Riva/Solas impeller questions.
Getting a New reduction nozzle from Riva. 87mm.. Does that *require the new impeller?
13/20 best for overall all-around performance?
Whats the difference between set-back and regular?
Sorry for newbie questions. Just tryin to understand everything!

Thanks!

In order to get the most bang for you buck I would suggest the following

D plate - yes
Top loader intake grate - yes

Free flow - makes the ski too noisy and you go slower - NO

Nozzle - not needed - no

13/20 - that is the wrong impeller for your ski - no

Rideplate - only if you ride in flat water, if you are out in the ocean stick with the stock plate

Trim tabs - if you get the rideplate also get the trim tabs

Best mods for improving perf are adding a cylinder head to raise compression - but this means you also have to add an EFI controller and use premium fuel

Impeller - here is teh impeller that fits you ski - YG-DF-14/20 Impeller, Solas DynaFly, 14/20, YAM $ 240.95 (the problem is if you don't add a head and EFI controller the pitch of the impeller is too steep and it needs to be reduced - someone like Carl at Island Racing can coreect the impeller pitch for you
