I just finished changing out my powervalves from 1200 to 1300. Listen close.....YOU DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE ANYTHING BUT THE POWERVALVE COVERS!!!!! The #1 valve comes out just as easy as 2-3 and goes back just as easy. Do not waste you time taking off extra's that you don't need to work on. Good luck. Oh, I my valves looked great. No carbon build up and no clean up at all.

I know you dont have to take of anything else. And the #1 valve should come out easy like the other 2 did, but its not. It stuck, and I have tried everything.

Jay, I left a message for u tonight. BB was done at 78 hours. I now have 100. That amsoil does make a diff. in the clean department. Stage, pull up on the arm w/ a screwdriver and use the valve area as a crutch. It will loosen up and go out. dont be afraid to use a little muscle.

Stock powervalves come out easy. They are shorter. With gas valves, they are longer and the billet adapter is thicker than the stock powervalve cover. Tighter fit for hardware.
Thats where removing them is different than the stock setup. The stock cover is low profile and flat.

Can't wait for the day to goto "valve-less 1300 jugs"

You are right Coop, use some leverage to pull the valve/bushing out. It will come out.
