Ok, so I'm at the gas station filling up my GPR, and this guy (on a bicycle) asks me how much I paid for it. I told him I bought it as a new 2002 model, and paid around $7200. He says his cost $12,000. Here's the rest of the conversation:

me: Wow, that's expensive. Why did you pay so much?

him: Well, I got the optional nitro-boost on it.

me: Oh really? What's that? (cringing, because I know what he's about to say)

him: You know, that stuff just like in Fast and Furious. "Noz".

me: Does it really make a difference?

him: Oh yeah, man. It gives me like an extra 40 mph over your stock boat.

me: Wow, dude. My boat does 90, so yours goes about 130?

him: Oh yeah, man. 130, all day long.

me: That sucks.

him: What, the "Noz" sucks?

me: No, you suck and your boat sucks. Go kill yourself.

I've never heard a credible racer or tuner call it NOZ. I've heard bottle, juice and laughing gas but never noz. I guess whoever wrote fast and furious couldn't figure out that nos is an acronym for Nitrous Oxide Systems LMAO at that dude at the gas station.

i started a post about something like this not even a week ago. It was the same thing, only with cars. I had just seen 2Fast2Furious that night, and thats wat got me fired up. I was talkin about "cheap imitations". And the kids that drive them. And it just makes me mad wen u see a kid that has a civic with a muffler and a wing saying his car can take a 454 Camaro. That was actually said to me.

Anyway, i started getting flamed on that thread so i just deleted it. I did say "american muscle will always dominate" which i take back. I just dont like the trash talk towards american cars.

All of these little punk wannabe kids nowadays are getting a little ridiculous. All they have to do is put a coffee can and a fart pipe on the back of their Civic or Integra and the thing can magically beat anything out there.

I couldn't count the number of times Fullboogie and I completely smoked these little punks in our cars (American, and yes, modified). Now when one of them pull up to the side and rev the fart pipe we just laugh. It's just a waste of time and gas. It's also definitely not worth the ticket.

Your right CaliGPR, no gear head has ever said, "NoZ dude", just all the wannabes when that movie came out.

I just watched that video of yours, amoney, and I pray that doesn't come to Houston.

Cajundude, thats exactly wat i was saying. About the imitation cars. the kids know jack sh!t but for some reason think the car can go up against a vette or something. Watever, there are some fast imports, but they r outnumberd by the "slow" ones

There is only one fast 4 banger here in the Houston area, and thats my brothers Celica Alltrac. I think he could of bought 2 vettes for the price of this car. Came in 2nd place in the Vegas car show too. My brothers 4 banger webage
