i have just fitted a riva ride plate along with the rest of the rpm kit on my fx160
the speedo is now only reading about half the speed (50kph or 30mph)at full speed the sender unit does seem to sit a bit lower than the hull does anyone know of a fix for this kev |

just an update to this
i removed the plate and ground the corners off so it could fit further foward it fixed the speedo issue and gave me 1 kph more top end kev |

When you say you ground the corners off - do you mean the speedo or the ride plate?
Did you move the rideplate forward or the speedo? Regards, Frank |

i moved the ride plate forward Frank
it didn't fit as far forward as the stock plate because the corners were too square a litle bit of rounding alowed the plate to sit all the way forward against the cut out in the hull kev |
