Oh my god!!!
Can some1 tell me how it went with your waterbox removal. I just spent 1 hour, prying, tearing away chips from the inside of the hull and cutting my wrist wide open. I finally got it out, but not after I literally bent that transom wall seperating the engine compartment from the waterbox compartment. What gives? Was I supposed to remove that divider, I am calling a transom? I would have had to disconnect 4 bolts, disconnect the shaft, etc, etc. Please! Any1 I am so Fu#$ing mad right now, cause there is no way every1 else is doing this smooth as cake! |

Take out the battery and extinguisher container.
Remove the four brass nuts that hold on the big black electrical box. Un bolt the two nuts holding the rear of the battery box by the rear seat grab. Unbolt the two bolts holding the stainless bar along the front of the battery box. (Port side one also holds the flushing conector). Push electrical box foreward against exhaust, remove foam and do your thing! Only slightly shi**y bit is geting at the hose clamp between water box and the last elbow, but if you hang upside down from the garage roof and are left handed.......it's easy! |

I just unbolted the 4 bolts holding the battery container and slid it onto my engine, no need to disconnect battery or anything else. What a bltch it was to get that thing out!! I have installed the TDR waterbox which slid in no problem. Ofcourse it is only a fraction of the size. Started it up and it is a little louder. Once I get the freeflow on it should be a good bit louder.
