Does anyone have the oil block-off instructions for the GP1200?? They didn't come with my plates I ordered.

Ok, so i recieved my block off plates and am in the process of pulling out the muffler and exhaust chamber assembly to get to the oil pump. I was looking into the front of the ski and wondered if removing the black air/vent duct hoses would be beneficial to the skiis operation. Any thoughts?
