Ok guys,less than a month ago I traded my fourwheeler for a 2000 yamaha gp1200r,26 original hours,flawless condition,etc
It wasn't running when I got it,but with patience and determination I found the problem and fixed it. I need some modification advice. What do you guys recommend to 1) make it a little faster 2) make it louder I don't want to buy a stage 1 or stage 2 kit due to finances. I really just want it to sound mean as hell like it did when the exhaust was off,and maybe a little more power. Higher top speed is nice, but the stock speed is fine,I'd just like to get there a little quicker. The main focus for now is making it sound good.Any advice is appreciated. Also, some "waverunner mechanic" told me that after about 60 hours the motors in these things go out due to some sort of coating coming off of the pistons or cyclinder walls. He suggested getting rid of it and getting a different model. Any insight? |
