We debuted several new products at the `09 Yamaha Dealer Meeting for the new FZR, FZS, FX-SHO & `09 FX-HO.

PRICING TO BE DETERMINED

FX-SHO & `09 HO Mirror Block-off's
They're a combination of carbon and composite. They directly replace the stock mirrors using the same mounting points.

FZR/FZS/FX-SHO Power Cooler Kit
Initial testing shows approximately a 15~20hp increase in mid-range and considerably more torque. Combined with our Supercharger Impeller (see below) we're seeing approximately 10~11psi of total boost. The core is separate from the ducts making it easy to install and service. The flanges on the ducts are double o-ringed so there's no chance it will leak. Wink

1.8L SHO Engine Supercharger Impeller
Adds .5~1lb of boost. You will be required to run our aftermarket ignition due to the added boost. We hope to have our ECU availalble this fall. Now that we know what the new Yamaha is we can finalize our testing. Smile

<-- RIVA STOCK-->

RIVA 1.8L Pro-Series Connecting Rods
These were produced for the sprecial GPR-SHO our head of r&d, Bruce Clarkson. He's doing a special build using a GP1300R hull powered by the 1.8L SHO Engine. You can follow the build by clicking here.

Again, I do not have pricing for these new products. As soon as I do I'll be sure to post it and send out our e-mail notification.

Now that we know what the new WaveRunner is we can finalize our ECU project. Beta units could be available as early as this fall. I'll be sure to post more info when I have it.

gos - I don't have pricing for any of the new products above. When I do I will be sure to post it. To purchase RIVA products in your country you will need to contact our importer, Australian Jet Ski.

Mike,
I hope you are right about the ignition. The sho riders need this thing YESTERDAY.

Good luck with the development. I'm hoping in the future, maybe Riva could start it's own line of ignitions, along with wiring harnesses for specific watercraft.

Depending on programmers and having to buy license from companies is going to haunt you till the end of time and slow your market release.

I don't know that we'll ever get into the ignition business at the level of offering our own proprietary units. It's pretty expensive. We have enough expenses as it is with all the other parts we specialize in!!! When we're done with our SHO ignition it will be awesome and well worth the wait.

jetskiboy5 - I'd love to. Only problem is we won't have one to work on until production units are shipped. With everything we have going on currently it would take the miracle of all miracles to have one ready to race in Havasu. Sorry, but I don't see how we could make it happen.

Hello Riva,

Will you guys be offering a blow-off valve that works with the stock SC?

Hi and welcome to our forums! Stand Wave

We are testing a few options, but haven't made a final decision yet. I'll post when I know more.

Do you have a FX-SHO or plan to buy a FZR or FZS?

Thanks for the welcome and the info. I have the SHO, and since it is used as a cruiser I want to preserve my fuel range, so I won't be stepping up to the new wheel/intercooler/ECU...as tempting as it is. I already have the power filter and manifold upgrade sleeve and thought a BOV would be a good reliability mod.

So If we do a IC upgrade, SCer impeller upgrade and a Riva intake the stock ECU will not be enough in Fuel requirements?

cmon guys......we love u but ur killing us with the wait for these parts......another unnamed company is putting out every part but the kitchen sink.....we still don't even have numbers on a Stage 1 kit.....been the same 4 parts available from the RPM kit listed since February? And Still no ride plate? The only indicator of whats goin on over there is watching Bruce's frickin amazing GPR-SHO build on GH......and this thread

Please give us an idea of when these parts r gonna be available.....and what kind of numbers we are lookin at for the Riva SC impeller/IC upgrade/injectors (for hp and performance.......)

Love Riva quality and performance, always worth the wait, waiting patiently but.......
