Will the electronics off a 650 Superjet work with a 62T case, crank and cylinder???
If so, does anyone have a set of old 62T cases that they want to sell??? Steve Ferone 98 GP1200 96 WaveBlaster 95 750SXI 94 Raider |

No, you will also need the flywheel and stator plate. REXA.

Thanks..... I meant all the electronics...sorry... I guess I really just wanted to know if the 650 crank would fit in a 62T case.
thanks again............ Steve Ferone 98 GP1200 96 WaveBlaster 95 750SXI 94 Raider |

6m6 electronics will absolutely work on the 62T cases.
The 6m6 has the same stator/flywheel combo as the 61X motor but the CDI has a lower rev limit. You can mod your 650 CDI, send it to get modded or replace with one from a 701 (61X or 62T). You could always step up to an MSD enhancer instead of a stock CDI. The 6m6 crank will fit the 62T cases as well as all the other Yamaha cases from that motor family. 01 GP1200r '90 SJ |
