Hey everyone, I posted in here some time ago that I was looking for a newer GP1200 to replace my 97' model. I did hunt E-bay, the forums for a few weeks and got plenty of offers too. Anyways, I winterized my ski a little early last year and forgot all about it until today when I saw the temp gauge in my car hit almost 60 degrees. I wanted to get out on the water, but who knows if I would have made it back with water temps in the 40s. I did get around to taking off all of the shrink wrap and started it up for a good 10 minutes today. It took a while to get it started, but it ran well for a ski that sat around since October. It was my first ski and I'm looking to upgrade to something newer- I need to sell this one first though. I purchased the ski with an estimated 170-190 hours and most likely put in another 30-40 over the summer. To be honest, the ski is pretty beat up cosmetically- that's the whole downside to the ski. It has the usual scratches here and there, flaking, etc...and has a small spot at the bow waterline where it was repaired at one point. Water has started to slowly leak in overtime in that area though. Engine wise, it has not once given me a problem which is why I want to stick to a Yamaha! All I ever did was replace the plugs, had the carbs cleaned out and put in a new battery. I listed it on Ebay before the season cut out last year so I still have some pictures laying around if anyone wants to check them out. I'd say the ski itself could be rated a *FAIR* and so I just want to get an idea of what I should be looking to ask for?
