HELP! HELP!
2003 GP1300R looses power after several waves cover ski compleatly. Runs perfect on flat water, once get's covered by few waves, almost instantly engine looses power ... rpm falls to 3000 and it keeps running consistent for about 30 sec with no power... then all of sudden power is back!?!!!?! Back to Full RPM! If I beach the ski right after - Engine compartment is clean( maybe just a little bit of water at the bottom, 1" or less) I Replaced: CAT with Power core, Gas tank Breather Valve, cleaned out gas tank and oil tank, Guage cluster (old one was getting moisture behind glass). New Spark Plugs, Disconnected water seporator and oil breather I was suspecting this was the problem. Nothing helped! ANY IDEAS?!?!! |

hey i'm just guessing here but is there any way that the water could be getting in your air intake? the next time it does it i think i might check those black plastic ***** that the incoming air would be traveling in (which leads to the engine) for water. that would tell you if your ingesting a little water....
