I just added a high compression head, K&Ns, new ride plate, intake grate and a 14/20 Skat Trak impeller. Now im fouling plugs and loading up bad. Everything I am being told points to need jetting. Question is, what do I jet it at? I dont know much about the jetting, but have someone that will jet it for me if I come up with the jetting specs I need. Anyone got the answer Im looking for? Sure would appreciate any/all help I can get.

Riva sells the Mikuni Tuning Manual for $2. Start by reading that. You may be able to just adjust the low and high screws. If you do have to rejet, take note of the smaller main jet on the center carb. I am surprised that you think it's running rich, however. When I added Riva flame arrestors to my 1100, I had to give it a lot more fuel.

thanks for the advice. im gonna try talkin to a yamaha dealer and see what they say. as far as running rich, a brand new set of NGK plugs were charcoal black after 2 rides, no more than 20 minutes per ride!
