sorry if this is the dumb question of the day but my ski is in storage for the winter so I can't check myself. Anyways, I got one of the riva carbon fiber gas caps for my fzr. Does it just slip over the stock one? or something else? thanks

Don't worry, there's plenty of time left in the day to top it!!!

That's an actual cover that is installed directly onto the stock fuel filler cap. It's easy to install.

• Dry fit the carbon cap cover.
  
• Clean the stock fuel filler cap and the inside of the carbon cap cover with rubbing alcohol.
  
• Apply clear silicone to the top of the stock fuel filler cap.
  
• Install the carbon cap cover onto the stock fuel filler cap.
  
• Press down firmly on the carbon cap cover. Remove any excess silicone.
  
• Secure carbon cap cover in place with tape until the silicone cures.

And voila!
