I had two of these and I finally gave up. The first worked for a few months, but started displaying values all over the place and then locked up. I returned it for a replacement. The second never displayed anything correctly, I tried all degree settings. 120 should have been right, but I think the 180 setting was the closest. However, it would still jump around to values over 8,000! I'm back to the standard Tiny Tach and it works fine. I didn't have any moisture problems with any of these tachs.

BULLRAIDER This looks like the ticket for me . The fact that it states water proof and not just water resistant is GREAT.That it renews every 1/4 second is nice and the display is large for its small size is nice too. Thanks, I'll email em today

My tiny tach was off by almost 200rpm when run side by side with my PET tach. I think they're junk, and I wonder why we spend hundreds or thousands on speed parts but are unwilling to pay $175 for a good tach to tune with.

Because if the sampling rate is better, the readout bigger , ,and was the best for the money you could spend, wouldnt you want the best information on your ski also?

That looks like a good deal.
Any idea how long the wait would be ???

Just might give it a try as well. I had a Pet go dead on me and the Tiny is going nuts, If this one holds up than I'll get a spare one .I'll have 2 tachs for less than one Pet.

WR the problems were , that some of the consumers couldnt read the large digits unless they were looking straight at it, and they are up grading to better angle reading,at least that is what HE said, they are moving there whole production facilities from china to ,I think malaysia, last month, I saw these originally with the other readout on e-bay 4/5 month ago for 56.00 " , on another note do you need any gaskets ,found some oem for the 500 on e-bay , no bidders, and cheap..of course if you can keep JOSH from buying them............

Bringing this one back from the dead.
For those who ordered or inquired about the TMI Tach , any news ????

I have to buy a Tach (sooner the better) as my Tiny has totaly craped out . I got so pi$$ed at it that I yanked it of the ski and chucked it into the drink.

The TMI sounds good but I need it now !!!!!

POOP.

I need a tach and was hoping this "water proof" one would be perfect.

I might give in and get another Pet but I know I will not be getting another Tiny.
