Yes..what Dave said. The 1100 has the larger holes allowing more water flow. It helps. Mike

But the rear cyl is always runs hotter true ? so wouldnt you want more flow to the rear cyl.

the main reason is the 1100 and the 1200 have the water entrance niple on a diferent position the holes on the gasket helt to distibute a equal amount of water for each cilynder any change may lead to a cooling faliure ijsba super stock sport national champion pro-am 1200 super stock champion www.billcosca.com

Now i dont know which gasket i should order has anybody had any trouble running 1100 gasket and how long have you been running it for now i am not sure i dont want to destroy my new motor.

I have 15 hard hours on the 1100 exhaust gasket on my 1200. No problems. I put it in per Pistonwash's suggestion. I am sure he has a lot more hours than that on his engines. I have held this engine wide open for 20 minutes at a time. Jetting is more of an issue for heat. When I bought the 1100 gasket at Pro-Tec they told me they were familar with using that gasket on 1200's
