Question:
I think Riva should try to build a 2005 GP1300R and consider using a Highoutput 4Stroke or a Regular 4Stroke motor with there Supercharger Kit instead of the standard 165HP EFI motor.

Choices:
Yes, this is a good idea
No, this would make it heavy

I dont think there is enough room inside the hull for the HO motor w/supercharger too...

even with out,,,,

I would be curious as to what it would do.

I would love to see one built but I think it would be too expensive between the cost of the ski, new motor, and supercharger your probably looking at close to 20K.

I'm willing to bet a lot of guys have $20K in their ski, once they get finished with mods!

It sure sounds like a good idea, but it more than likely would end up costing at least twice as much as our current FX-HO Supecharger Kit. And require severe modifications to the hull in order to make the engine fit and the craft handle properly. And even then there's no quarantee the craft would handle properly. Part of designing a PWC involves proper distribution of weight in the craft. Too much weight any direction from center and you'll have the worst handling craft on the planet. We were lucky in that there is plenty of room in the FX hull allowing us to relocate the oil tank. We were also lucky in that we were able to displace the weight evenly when relocating the oil tank and installing the supercharger.
