That's not too bad. I forgot to ask if you were instructed on how to check the oil level properly. It makes a difference!
1) Make sure the craft is perfectly level. 2) Start the engine and let it run for 15 seconds. 3) Stop the engine and let it sit for 15 seconds. 4) Pull the dip stick, wipe it clean and replace it. 5) Wait a few seconds, pull the dip stick again and check the oil level.

Broke the impeller duct trying to press out bearings...New one's on the way,.. I have the service manual..Not sure how the bearings are suposed to be facing going back in...Any help ?
I don't remember off the top of my head and I'm away from the shop this week (Yamaha Dealer Meeting). Get in touch with our Tech Rep at 954-247-0705. Tell him I told you to call.

didn't need to read this i am replacing the bearings in my pump today

wasn't to bad any way bearings pressed out and new ones back in without probs did find that the spacer between the housing and the impellor was not there though wundered what it was for ( ordered new bearings and seals and they included new spacers and nut) until i looked it up on the parts finder
