Use Yamalube 4-M. Where is the level on the oil dip stick?

That's not too bad. I forgot to ask if you were instructed on how to check the oil level properly. It makes a difference!

1) Make sure the craft is perfectly level.
2) Start the engine and let it run for 15 seconds.
3) Stop the engine and let it sit for 15 seconds.
4) Pull the dip stick, wipe it clean and replace it.
5) Wait a few seconds, pull the dip stick again and check the oil level.

I don't remember off the top of my head and I'm away from the shop this week (Yamaha Dealer Meeting). Get in touch with our Tech Rep at 954-247-0705. Tell him I told you to call. Wink

wasn't to bad any way bearings pressed out
and new ones back in without probs
did find that the spacer between the housing and the impellor was not there though
wundered what it was for ( ordered new bearings and seals and they included new spacers and nut) until i looked it up on the parts finder
