Leaving the intake duct on, with F/A, does it increase air flow?

Asking because my intake duct is still installed and was wondering if I should take it off.

I have flame arrestors already on there, but the intake duct and intake hose was left on there. Does the intake duct add more air to the F/A? Or is it just sitting there doing nothing now.

I took the black box, rubber hose and bulb out of mine when I put flame arrestors on. I don't think it would make much difference.

Philip did a test removing the big black flexible hoses and didn't find any difference.

Something to do on a winter night in the garage though.
