I did some testing with the sponsons last night. Calm water slight ripple, 4 solid bars on gas, trim 1 notch down, 3/4 mile runs,2 passes without being stepped GPS 72 showed 71.8 mph @ 7030 rpm, stepped 2 passes 71.7 mph @ 7030 rpm , It took slightly longer to reach peak rpm and speed with them stepped. The little that I'm loosing there going to stay stepped.

With the stock rideplate I liked them full up. With my new R&D plate I need/like them stepped. The R&D plate induced excessive porpoising to my ski until I stepped them, then it hooked up and took off like a boat out of **** !

The first 2 runs they were all the way up by stepping I only lost .1 mph., trim worked best 1 notch down.
