Hello I an A newby and am looking for help with my visor I got gas on it this weekend and it messed up the finish on the plastic, I tried polishing it with novus plastic polish but it dident work.
Has anyone had this problem? Or any ideas to fix youre ideas will be appreciated thanks 2004 Yamaha GP 1300 R stage 1 D-plate performance pump cone Shread master ride plate |

Your are SOL. Get a new one - only about $35.

get a buffer on it...cleaner/ wax try it...dont do one spot to long just a little at a time untill you get the hang of it or it could melt or damage it...from the spped of the buffer wheel

Paint it with plastic paint and be done with it.

You can try sanding it with an ultra fine sandpaper on a DA. Around 1500 grit should work and then buff it with polishing compound like maguirs M3 or 3M finesse. You might be surprised at how well this works.
