I have a 01 GP1200R that has been ported to a 1300. Have had the case ported as well as the exhaust. The pump has also been ported. I am using a 13/20SB from Riva/Solas. My rpm is around 7050. I am also using a Riva D-plate. Couple of questions.
1) Is the R&D D-plate better?
2) I have boyesen/riva reed stuffers installed with boyesen pro reeds. Will the stock reed's with no stuffers be better?
3) What is in the way of better RPM's. I have a nujet 6.5 pro from carl with the plastic liner. My 13/19 turns better.

From what I have seen people discussing, the Nujet will give you bigger numbers on speed, but is not as quick out of the hole as a 13/19 Solas. It looks as if some members are running a 14/20 that has been depitched to a 12/18 or 13/19 to get that bottom end.

You mentioned that you are running a 1200 that has been ported to a 1300.
-Do you mean you had it "Bored" to a 1300, or are you running 1300 porting specs?
-As for Porting on the pump, did you have the casting flaws removed & blueprinted?
-What speed (GPS) are you currently running?
-What carbs do you have?
-What compression are you running?
-Are you running Fercho's Jetworks flow valve mod?
-If you are running stock carbs, I know where a nice set of RPM carbs are for sale on the forum.
-Are you running the stock CDI? or an aftermarket one like an Advent or Protec?

Who did the porting???

I had carl at IR. He says that I should be getting a lot more out of my boat than I am. I will be planing on taking a trip to have him tune the set up that won't be until late spring of next year.
