That's right - just back off the trottle and be ready for a sharp left turn with the stock grate if you get above 70. That's why we dumped the stock grate and went to aftermarket -speed gains were not the driver.


Red Ski - 2000 ported 1300 single piper
Blue Ski - 2001 ported 1300 triple piper

Jay, amen to that! I discovered this past weekend what happens when riding in the superman position and you let off the throttle ,yep, ski went "that" way, I went the other!!!! Frown and it AIN'T funny! It actually busted my toe as I almost cleared the handle bars! Well, I did but my toe didn't! Big Grin

Anyway, this is a discussion of Intakes, I want to change mine but to what??? I'm still nervous on the R&D.
