I have had my machine up to 78mph. When ever i goto a lake I have it at top speed and it is getting boring. What can I do to make it go quicker? My goal is to do 100 mph by the time I go back to lake george, upstate ny next yr. Somebody said to check the govern? I didnt think they would have a govern on a waverunner. Any feedback is much appreciated.

100 Is a huge goal. But if you want the best advice on what to get and how to buy and install, Go over to Greenhulk.net Those guys deal with go fast parts all the time. Some of the best tuners around are on that site.

Wilber, what have you done to that ski to reach 78mph?
100mph ski will cost you in the $35,000,00 range!
Are you using your stock guage to see your speeds?

Realistically your stock 1300R is about 65-65 true MPH on a GPS or Radar.
There are many things you can do to wake up your 1300.
Set your budget, and then recomendations can be made to get you the most "bang for the buck"

I went out to Beltzville Lake in Pa. I launched my machine and forgot to take the gps with me. Once I was on the water I didnt want to get out. I talked to a few people on the lake and they believed my reading was correct. I'll be sure to take the gps this weekend coming up. What would $2,000 do for me?
