well about 6 months ago i had a pv failure and i now have the motor back together it is a 2001 gpr 1200 i have installed wave eaters clips and coulper should i be ok or should i upgrade to the new updated yamaha power valves thanks 32racer

If your using the same PV's that blew the engine in the first place...replace them. IF they have the copper-colored collars next to the stops ....replace them.
The clips will provide you with protection from it happening again. If your pv's don't have any wear and don't have the copper color then just use them with the clips. It's cheaper and safer than aftermarket pv's.. |
