I was under the impression the the maker of the remote adjusters was out of business, X-Bones.

They never actually produced adjusters for the lows, just for the highs.

I believe there was "play" from the cable twisting so an accurate adjustment was hard to verify... in addition the metal adjusters needed to be hosed hevily with anitcorrosive sol to prevent rusting... that what I remember hereing about them... other then that a great idea... or get a pipe... maybe a couple.

Who? What??
Remote carb adjusters? Go to QuickMicks home Page. Its mostly for friends and family to keep updated on my selfish hobby of my jet ski's. Why I never visit them, YEA im out riding and not visiting family. What the **** lets go ride.
My Tuner from last year made my carb remotes, I only made the new bracket that supports them. Aluminum withe drilled out brass screws.
Amoney is correct with the oil, ya gotta keep em lubed to keep away any rust.
As far as any play in them? NONE. you can feel every click of the needle. Atleast I can.
After this season I plan on making a few sets to sell on E-Bay. That and beach stands.
I believe there are other people that make them too.
Mick

So the story is streight crossbones never made the adjusters they just sold them gg&s enterprises who came up with the ideal and made then and so you guys know I did make the low speed adjusters and sold several sets and put them on the team boats last year and so far they are still working just fine there was a problem with crossbones and my self so that is why I stop making them but mick is trying to talk me into making them again and when I get some free time I am gonna make mick some to sale soon and trying a new coating to keep the cables from rusting in the harsh world of jet skis and water.... Hey Pin, the remotes work great. I have the hi's and the lows and never an issue. I can make adkjustments to all 6 before anyone with t handles can get finished with their hi's. Now if Greg will get off his a## and make some more.

There is no problem with the twisting of the cable. Its a spring cable and they come right back where they started from. I have had them for 2 years now and I still have the origional set installed! Email me if you want more info then that.
