I have a question, how many of you out there are running shimmed trim tabs. Mine were shimmed the day of my speed run, but I am wondering if I may be losing a bit of speed (drag) since they are shimmed. They are not lower then my hull, they are higher with the washers. I will do some more testing without them the next time I go out, but I don't know when that will be....
As for stability, I notice my ski is more stable side-to-side, which is cool....but I wonder if I am leaving more speed on the table having shimmed tabs. |

I really like the ride withthe washers - my water tends to be on the rough side
