ok guys im new here but heres what i want to know....i am in the market for a waverunner. my buddy just bought a 2001 ultra 150 with an aftermarket prop but everything else is stock. I want to spank his ski so my question is this. i was originally looking at buying a 1999 gp1200 with a stage 2 kit, but i was told the fastest that boat or any 97,98, or 99 gp will ever go is like 70 (due to hull design)but a stage 2 gpr 1200 like a 2000 model and up will go 85 easy. is this true and if so has anybody ridden the 2 and which bike do you prefer for ultimate top end speeed? thanx ahead of time
