Is the only difference between these two the seat? I have an SHO available but I really wanted the cruiser for the seat. Can I replace the seat with one off a cruiser? I think the color might be an issue. Looking for options.

Seat configuration and color are the only differences between the stand SHO and Cruiser SHO. Just an FYI - The Cruiser seats are fairly expensive!

Thanks for the reply. I think I could get the dealership to get me one for cost (I assume even that is not cheap)but the seat color may be an issue as the Cruiser comes in silver or the red/gold and neither will match. The SHo they have is the black/red one. A hydroturf or jetworks seat cover would be a nice look. Will one be available for the cruiser seat?

Actually, would the grey seat that comes on the SHO or HO cruiser be about the right color to match the seat on the black/red SHO? It's hard to tell from just the pictures on the yamaha web site.

The difference in cost between the SHO and SHO Cruiser is about 800.00 which should cover the seat.

No problem! Wink Aftermarket seat covers for Cruiser seats are hard to come by. We don't offer them. You might try contacting them directly.

The grey will match, but the shape won't. The front section is completely different.

Thanks again,

They just pulled the black SHO out of the crate...Wow, that is one nice looking boat. I am going to take it regardless of the seat. I sure wish there was an option though. Now I just have to wait for a cruiser for my wife. We will know today if the last one they have coming in is sold or not. If not she will get the HO.

Best Regards

I just got back from our warehouse where I was matching color swatches for our seat covers. That's the first time I've seen the black with red model in person. WOW is right!!! Talk about sharp. I'll post as soon as the seat patterns and colors are nailed down.

You guys are really missin the proverbial boat on this one! Just took delivery on my SHO Cruiser last sat. Sat it next to a FX SHO and it was a no-brainer. Other than the looks dept it ain't about the seat....which is a whole lot better. This is my second Cruiser and that seat will spoil ya! The new Cruiser also has Pop-up cleats on both sides approx
3.5' back of the bow...very handy. There is some really cool trim vent looking thingys right forward of the seat cushion...chrome....think fender vents on SUV's. The back of the rear view mirrors also have chrome vent looking inserts. The best for last...the on board computer package with a Cruiser is as good as some luxury cars! If ya think that extra 800.00 isn't worth it do what I did and pull out the Owners manual at the dealers....it appplies to both models. Once you get into it you will find lots of goodies that are marked"CRUISER models only"! Am lovin this boat and waitin for 10.1 hrs on the meter to kick some local Sea-Poo butt!

Why wait till 10.1 hrs

Acording to the break in it only took me 2hrs.

I think it was 1/2 hr idle 1 hr no more the 3500 RPM 1/2 no more the 6000 RPM the ride like hell.

That's the way I did mine. 20hrs so far.

Yes I live around 2 1/2 hr ride from Riva. we set up the appointment. Go have lunch and then pick the ski back up. We make a day of it. Takes 1-2 hrs service time. They do a great Job.

I am in Grapevine Texas(think Dallas Ft Worth)so it would be one hell of a long ride! As much as I would like to see Riva I will probably take it local. Thanks for the input Brah!
