IS THE TINY TACH RELIABLE AND ACCURATE?WILL IT WORK FOR MY TRIPLE CYLINDER SET UP?IF SO, WHERE DO YOU CONNECT ,NEAR COIL OR WHAT CYLINDER?THE REASON IS IN AUSTRALIA WE ONLY HAVE THESE TACHS OR THE PET 2000 AND THIS I BELIEVE IS FOR DUAL CYLINDER SETTUP.IT DEFINATELY DID NOT WORK ON MY 99GP.INPUT MUCH APPRECIATED AS I HAVE JUST RUN IN MY TRIPLE BIG BORE AND NEED TO DIAL IN CARBS.
When i first got my GPR I put the Tiny Tach wire around the #2 spark plug wire and it gave me some really freaky readings. Then a forum member told me to put it on the front cylinder spark plug wire between the plug cap and the sheilding where the wire is the least insulated. Every since I have done this the Tiny Tach has worked well. The Tiny Tach can help you tune your high end adjusters with peak rpms pretty good.

Rock--I have had 2 tiny tachs-(one was a gift)--the first one was so inconsistent it would jump around more than 300 rpms--the second one was very hard to tune with --it just didnt seem to react right when tunning.. So i bought an advent--when i had the 2 of them both hooked up together the tt read 7160--the advent read 7210--plus the advent can be hooked up direct.---with the money these boats get put into them, i think it is wise to spend the extra money on a good tach.. cj
