put one in my xp and in a couple of rides found out they forgot to put on the top piston ring on one cylinder. they would fix it but I was going to have to take it apart send it to them wait on it then get it back and pay someone to put it together again, so I just had it bored and new pistons put in runs good now
A buddy of mine has the GPR1200 SBT motor in and so far it's been running great. He has the stinger2 pipe on and no problems. I think he wants to try the Riva head on it also.

seems to me from what i read on this forum ,that SBT is the best rebilt motor for the money they charge ,although from what i understand from their web site they only do basic rebilt,no trued cranks or rods ,in other words keep it as close as stock as possible. Is that so???

tachtout - email me with the name the engine was purchased under, or the engine serial # or your RGA # so I can look up that warranty - I haven't heard of that happening in the factory - sounds like a very strange problem!
