yes, I have an I cut, a stock 13/19 and a couple of Skat props (and 3 pumps and 4 intake grates and 3 plates and....)

I suggested a stock prop because I think a stock (uncut) prop would stay hooked up better in rough water. One of the advantages of the I cut is it tends to reduce the suction effect of the pump. In this case that might be a disadvantge.

On the plate I realize there are two camps, those that like the ride of a stock R&D plate and those that like the ride of the stock plate. There are probably more people that prefer the R&D plate. I prefer the stock. No big deal I was just trying to offer another alternative.

By the way congrats on your ski - you have that big bore flying!

NJ you better go with more compression if you are going to turn a steeper prop than a 13/19. 7100 rpms has been mentioned quite a few times as optimal. You will need the R&D or Riva plate. Leave the skegs on, its only about a .5 mph gain anyway. When I was talking about a stock plate I meant OEM.

Philip is right about the cut props and the suction effect. They do come unhooked easier.

70mph with good hookup and accelleration is not that easy to do. Tricked out triple pipers set up to race cc are barely over 70.

Yes you can go 70 anyday if you want to. All I would have to do is put a stock GP800R intake grate on my ski. Then the first time I got into it with someone and the water wasn't glass my 70+ mph ski would get spanked by a stock ski.

Its all about what you really want to do.
