Anyone know what acceptible draw is on a battery form these digital dash assys? I have a 98 gp760 that will light a test light, which to me is too much! Any info would be great, before I replace this unit?

I have a 99 GP1200 with the same problem. Was told it drains due to the security system. It is a design problem with that dash. I bought a gel battery and when I am done riding I unplug the white connector in the front left engine compartment.

I had to keep mine on the tricle charger if not riding over a week, not much more you can do about it except disconnect the battery after every ride.
