i've heard that the side draft intake manifold doesn't make a difference in power. what are the claimed advantages compared to the stock down draft manifold?
I have a carbon fiber hood (Non opening, with steering colum and what I think are UMI mounts and bars) and a carbon fiber rear grab handle.
They came with the hull that I bought to replace my trashed one, and I have no intention to use them. I can get some pics up tonight if you like. I just want to get them outa my garage, so make me a offer. . --update-- it all got snatched up.. Man, that was fast

Doesnt look to be. The carbs when mounted sit straight up. personally I wouldnt put side draft manifolds on jet skis only due to possible water ingestion. But if you want it let me know. price includes shipping Rob

will stock carbs fit on the side draft manifold?
I dont really see it as a power adding part. i see it as a water ingesting part. I have a buddy who had side draft carbs on a jet ski and he finally went back to the regular style cause he sucked water in a couple of times. Rob
