can't pass my buddy on his ultra 150/shreadmaster ... feels like if it were flat water i could pass him.. I'm bouncing in 1-2 ft chop... can I trim the riva plate and tabs with a couple of washers to keep the nose down??

how about my stock sponsons... bring the backs of them down into the water?

Step the sponsons first. Shim the rideplate if the stepped sponsons don't help enough.

Don’t shim it too much, we added washers until our GPR almost stop bouncing in the chop although once we checked the speed it lost 3-4 mph.

things to try in this order
- step sponsons
- and shim Riva plate
- and put stock ride plate back on
- and get a XL pump nozzle
