I'm going to changing out the pump housing on my GPR soon. I see others here talk about using ATF instead of grease. I was able to find a reference to Mobil1 brand to use. Although I'm considering the ATF route I would still like to know what "grease" to use if I don't.

Can someone recommend a brand or part # for pump grease? The only refernece I could find to EPNOC with a search didn't spell out exactly where to get it.

Thanks.

Mix some synthetic Amsoil Racing 2000 Grease with Amsoil Synthetic Gear Lube and bring it to an almost liquid form.

You can only get that Epnoc rating 0 in 5 gallon buckets because it is so soft. Its the same grease that the use on leaky gear boxes

Thanks Fercho. Do you think I should scrape out the grease that's in the cone now or just leave it and add the new stuff between the bearings?

What I did was put the end of the pump in a plastic bag and blew all of the grease out with a compressor blowing gun and trap, all of the grease in the bag to prevent making a mess.
