What would be the best modifications i could do to a GPR. I am not racing it in closed course, I am simply riding on the water for fun at the New Jersey shore. But keep in mind I do not want to spend a lot of money. I am not racing it so it doesn't have to be a real expensive fast waverunner, just a little faster and/or a little bit more better handling than a stock GPR. I don't want anything like a Triple exhaust because that is way out of my league. I'm only 15 so i can't afford it anyway.
I was thinking of getting a free flow exhaust kit, sponsons, rideplate, and a nozzle. Is this a good selection or a bad combination???????
what ever you do have the pump properly sealed. You can read about this procedure by doing a search on this forum. This particular issue must be addressed regardless of whether or not you do anything to your GPR or not. This will save the impeller and improve your hole shots by not allowing air to enter the pump.
Add a solas 13/19 and you will get more mph.

Speedy if you think about it from 64-65 to 69-70 is just a little faster but come with a price. I would settle for improved handling first.
Seal the pump, get a 13/19 Solas impeller, Intake grate. A head mod is worth it. A Jet Trim seat cover will kept you behind in place and will make your body movement predictable, Its always overlooked as a performance upgrade. On a ski that goes this fast you need to keep your body properly positioned and in control.
FERCHO HIT IT ON THE HEAD FOR YOUR BUDGET. ADD RIDE PLATE TO THAT PACKAGE. HAVE A LOOK AT MY SITE FOR SOEM IDEAS ON UPGRADES AND MY OPINION ON WHY. LINK AT END OF MESSAGE.
THE FREE FLOW DOES NOT SEEM TO DO MUCH FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT LOW SPEED NOISE. THE NOZZLE WILL IMPROVE STEERING BUT NOT AS WELL AS SPONSONS DO.
