This really sucks. We traveled two and a half hours to shoot with a video crew. Of course I meticulously take care of my ski. I get there, camera rolling, and the ski runs for about five minutes. I take it out of the water. Wont start. Check for spark. No spark! I check everything electrical, fuse and all. Every thing looks good. While checking for spark the second time demonstrating for a camera guy, I shock the **** out of my hand holding on to the insulation. It turns out the current was arcing from one plug wire to the other. So change from stock. It will happen at the worst time.

That's bad news. What type (brand) of plug wires did you go with? And, did you do any research or comparisons before deciding to go with the brand that you purchased? How much were they?
Thanks dude,
See Ya!

Hey Gilbert, This happened to my 02' SJ but I replaced them on my GPs as well. I went with the MSD Ignition plug wire set, they run about $25. You can get them on this site. Go to the performance catalog and look under electrical. So far so good.
