Jetting needed for Novi 48's and Factory triples

Well finally getting to the final stage of my boat and want to see what everyone else is running for jetting on their Novi 48's with triples.
The carbs I picked up had 175 mains 140 lows 1.5 n/s with 115 gram spring. I was going to try 170 mains 140 lows 2.3 n/s with 115 gram spring. Screws will be started at 1 1/2 turns out on each. What are you guys running jetting that you have found to work. I know Sea Ya sold his because he couldn't get a bog out and that GP1200r-acer is running 162.5 mains, 145 lows, 2.3 n/s and 80 gram spring. Thanks. Hi Pat, in the Pepsi's super stock configuration, I had a 2.5 N&S, gold spring, 180 mains, and 150 pilots. I'm totally rebuilding the engine from scratch for pump gas and dumped the dominator for the new Riva w/Boost bottle. I just rejetted them this weekend to 165 mains and 135 pilots. I left the 2.5NS/115 gram spring - their popping at 22psi. I'm sure I'm rich, and when I finally get the ski back on the water later this month, believe I'll end up at 155 mains/135 pilots. But I won't know until I get it all back together.

What are you running for an intake Pat? I believe if you are not running a boost bottle or Dominator you will have to go smaller on the jetting (I'm also running race gas).

Dave sorry I missed you or actually didn't miss you. I was actually standing next to you on Saturday. Had the umbrella with me since it was raining and freezing.. Sorry to hear about your crash also. Hope you feel better soon.. Now as for the intake I am using a Rius boost bottle with Delta V-Force 2's. I will give Carl a call later on today and see what he says.. Thanks ![]() |
