I noticed on the XP carb rack, the Mag carb is the only one with the pump assembly on it. The PTO carb has only a plate and the only thing inside the plate is the filter and the "peace" looking rubber ring.

Is this normal? I want to make sure b4 I put them back on the rack.

I made sure all the pieces were together so I KNOW I didn't lose anything.

Thanks

So that part of the carb is not used on the slave? IE-"peace" gasket and filter?

Make sure that those filters are clean,if they are packed up with a brown tarry substance you need to replace the fuel lines.

The fuel line in question is gray and has the name "TEMPO" on it,this fuel line is bad news it clogs up the fuel filters in the carbs and causes a fuel starvation which leads to piston seizure.

I see this all the time #2 carb is usally the worst.Seadoo claims that they dont have a fuel line problem, but I see it all the time in all seadoos from 94,95,96,97,98,99,2000,01,02.

It really sucks but thats SEADOO!! [Roll Eyes]

By the way DJ give me a call if you want more info on those carbs. 772-336-3615

Thanks for the heads up WATERWORX!

I got the carbs on yesterday and it started up nicely! I adjusted the idle today and my bro will take it out tomorrow. My fingers are crossed on a trouble free run.

I set the oil pump very rich just in case.

His problem is the mag cyl rave keeps melting. I did everything I could think of. Check water lines/routing and rebuilt carbs. Also pulled head and checked all that out. Its fine..it better not happen again.

This time I zip-tied the bellow and put new o-rings on the valves.

Thanks!
