Looking to have my 66E ported, polsihed and so on.
You guys (u too Riva) that have had this done can you shed some info on who did yours and the good & bad luck you have had.

Is it better to resleeve with big bore, or leave Tin coating?

This will be my first port job & would like to be educated.

Many thanks, keep on riding.

Tim Judge and Dan Lamey are the best two tuners in the world when it comes to the powervalve motors.
You can`t go wrong with either.

66E isnt a power valve motor. RIVA does good porting work. AS does MRC.

The 66e is the 800 Powervalve engine. First released to the public in the 98 GP800.
The 1200r motor is little more then an 66e with one additional cylinder.

The 800 66e motor is the same as the 120066v,except the port timing, and the rear transfer port has an angled shape pointing to the exh. port.
