Just when you think your back on the water and just barely after breaking in the rebuilt engine after the powervalves blew it up to the tune of almost 1000 bucks, The middle muffle is cracked. It probably has been for some time. The oem number is: 66V-14721-00-8P MUFFLER 2 1 $642.95

If anyone knows where I can get it much cheaper please let me know or my season is done. I am TIRED OF THIS P.O.S. YAMAHA!

One thing after the other. I was planning on buying new in the winter but I have used up my downpayment on repairs to this Piece of sh......

I have had it with this ski.

Thanks to any that can help.

I just took a 4 day weekend to go out with the wife on the ski's and now this. G-d.mn tired of it.

That muffler is cast aluminum right? I remember my welding career from long ago and I think its almost impossible to weld it. Or can it? Take it to a professional shop?

650 bucks is just too much to pay.

Sounds good. Email me at DJFRANKIEB@AOL.COM

I am going to take it out and try welding it first. As long as it's the outer jacket and not cracked on the inside. 650 is crazy.

I am only interested in the middle pipe not the whole exhaust since I know it will cost more and I only need the middle.

Mario...what are you asking for it?

I paid $200 + $50 shipping for a used one from a grp, it's the same pipe.
You have a 99 right?
They changed the right side front mount from a rubber bushing to an aluminum one in 2000 or 2001.

Would a 66V-14749-00-00 from an 01 GP1200R fit? It looks the same. Thanks
