I decided to take a look at the ski in my detail. I put new plugs in today before taking it out. I pulled the plugs just now and found the front one closest to the steering wheel and found that it is still brand new. I checked to see if it was a sparking problem. NOPE. It works fine. I put the plugs back in and ran it for 10 minutes with the flush kit and the found that the plug is still new with NO signs of use I also compared it to a new one that I put in the other one to match it up. I found color on that one. I also looked in the spark hole and it seems wet but not water wet looking. Like a oilly wet. The others are black dry look. Does anyone have any clue on this one?????? ![[Mad]](mad.gif)

ok, easy things first.
check compression in cyl #1. If you have compression, change the fuel filter, rebuild the carbs(they could prob use it), and drain the fuel tank. Install new spark plugs, and have fun.
Hard things second.
no compression on cyl #1. buy 3 new piston/ring setups, full top end gaskets, bore and hone all 3 cyl. install, and complete the top proceedures.
** Also go buy tickets to a play and a nice dinner for your GF/wife -trust me on this one.

did you run the fuel out of the carbs before storage last fall? also, did you put the correct ratio of stabil in your tank and then run it for 10/15 minutes after?
Sounds like you may not be getting fuel through one of the carbs .. with the spark plug details you've mentioned

on the messed up motor, this is what I'd do 1) I'd drain the fuel from the tank, I always siphon mine into my wife's van, and replace it with some fresh gas 2) do a compression check, easy to do, you can do it yourself and you may as well rule this out 3) do the compression check with the power valves open and then closed, get a good gauge, remove all spark plugs, hold throttle open, crank motor for a couple of seconds with a fully charged battery, redo check with PVs open - to open valves rotate PV arm - compression should be 5-10 lbs less 4) take it to a good dealer, they can easily check the electrical and confirm a good spark is getting to all 3 cylinders 5) from the sounds of things it might be one of the carbs, I left this last because they are a pain to get to and you really don't want to remove them unless you are pretty sure that is the problem
it is doubtful it is the fuel filter, it is located under the top of the front hood, it is clear so you can see through it
