Frank, how did adjusting the power valve controler go?
Did you do it with the controler still installed in the boat?
Tell us how it went. Still turning 7000rpms.

HI Jet!

I just got back from running it and testing rpms. I finally hit 7000 with the powervalve controller hooked up. The best way to start is to start on the servo side pulley and loosen set screw. Then line up hole on cylinder and tighten cables nice and snug. Then cycle servo with set screw out so that the servo cycles but doesn't move pulley. Then put in set screw and tighten. Cycle servo again and loosen cables on cylinder side till the required slack is present.

That's what I did then went out and tested it. I had to tighten the cable that opens the valves just a bit. Did some more runs. A lil tighter...and the valve openings got smoother with the gain in rpms(no hesitation then a surge at wot..)
