Mark on is yellow flame triple piped gpr came in second in the 2 hr enduro and larry on his triple piped stxr finished 1st I believe in the 50 minute sprint. They were kind enough to hand deliver all my parts needed to rebuild my gpr better than it was before. I will be posting picks of mark and larry soon. Thanks to rpm racing I will be riding this summer after all. [IMG]
keep in mind these guys were running this endurance race in 109 degree heat. Leg cramps and sun burns were comon place. It seems to me you would have to be in good shape to run a race like this. Larry and Mark I will be joining you soon, and giving you guys a run for your money. LOL NOT!

Mark I left a message on your cell phone, I put the gpr on the hose and it died, water in the jugs and crank again. I have torn her down again and after talking to larry it seems the #2 head is warped enough to allow water in the cylinder. Larry suggested using some 400 grit sand paper on the head and not using any permatex spray on anything and sticking to the 1211. no siezure marks on the side of the piston however there is some scoring on the cylinder so ill use some 400 grit on that also. This thing really is killing me.

That really suxs. I think I would compression test and pressure test before starting it up this time. Are you sure you don't have a waterline disconnected somewhere?
Best of luck

jim , It is leaking water through the head and gasket, soon as I turn water on it starts to miss and die. I used some 400 grit sand paper to true the head, It was some what warped but not to bad but bad enough to not make a good seal on the jug. I am having a miserable time right now. I was putting motor back together and went to find a small aluminum piece that goes to my rpm pv couplers and I cant find it. I have to remove the exhaust and juggs to make sure its not in the crank area. It would be funny if it wasnt so sad. After speaking with larry at rpm racing I am fully confident that my seal job on the cases is close to perfect. I will start to disassemble the motor tomorrow evening in search of the rpm coupler piece. Ill keep you posted when and if I find the D@mn thing.

The coupler piece was sitting on the side of the motor. Not in the crank area. Its all back together now and I ran it on the hose for awhile ran fine. Pulled plugs no water just wet with fuel. Again I must thank mark and larry @ rpm racing for everything they have done and have offered todo for me. Spud no worries man all is well. Ill be riding @ the river soon eating doos and cr@pin ultras
